Hunting for minerals from Klausen, past Teis to Brixen

A nice hike to Villnöss with a view of the Geisler peaks and a visit to the Teiser Mineral Museum with an extensive mineral collection and the famous “Teiser Ball” made of amethyst and quartz. During this tour you can search for and mine a “Teiser Ball”. Tour description:
From Klausen follow the trail marked Nr. 7 to Gufidaun (730m). In Gufidaun, the village museum is worth a visit, in which many farming tools are displayed.  From here to Burg Summersberg – the square tower and the construction give the impression of a late-middle-ages court jail – , then cross the street and drop into the valley on the trail marked Nr. 7 to Milleins.  From Milleins in a little less than one hour you will come to Teis (963 m) on the trail marked Nr. 9.

In Teis you can visit the mineral museum.  From Teis you will continue along the path marked Nr.11 for about one hour to Nafen (806 m) and then along the path marked Nr.3 and then the path marked Nr.4 for one hour to Albeins (586 m).  From here take the hiking trail marked Nr.9 next to the river to Milland (570 m) and then to Brixen.
